MLC Elections 2009 took place in Andhra Pradesh on Friday. The Results of MLC Elections 2009 has been declared today. The list of Elected Members of Legislative Council 2009 can be checked on http://www.kar.nic.in/kla/mlc.htm.
Election Commission of India is controlling the work of the Chief Electoral Office. This department supervises the work of General Elections & Bye- Elections in Andhra Pradesh.
It has also the responsibility of making and updating the Electoral Rolls, Identity Cards to citizens and restructuring of Polling Booths.
The working area of A.P. Legislative Assembly & A.P. Legislative Council is also under the Election Commission of India.
