West Bengal Council of Higher Seondary Education came into existence with a view to re-structuring the pattern of Secondary Education in West Bengal in consonance with the all India pattern of Secondary Education ( + 2 stage ), under West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education, Act 1975.
